Harriett - Purton Hulks
The Harriett is a barge that has been beached (hulked) at the banks of the River Severn on 24th March 1956. Along with other vessels being beached in the 20th century the intention was to strengthen the nearby eroding banks of the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal.
